Hi all, just a newbie question here.

Is it possible to get a Young Grasshopper trophy on every level? Or only some of them? Same with Puzzle Commando.

If it isn't possible on every level, is there an icon or something in the puzzle or puzzle title somewhere that I missed that tells you when this is possible?

I noticed that it does mark the trophy icon on those levels where you've managed it. Smile

In game I don't believe there is anything that indicates what is possible (which is good as there are some sneaky puzzlers out there that have exceeded the puzzle-maker's expectations.) However, if you go to the trophy list you will find a list of the best you can do on each level, as far as is currently known.

It's interesting how some solutions need an EXACT pixel placement... I remember trying to get the Ninja solution for "Fine Divide", and that taking us forever, just tweaking the dang Giant Marshmallow.

In an earlier version of Eets, different things would happen everytime you pressed play, causing the exact same placement to sometimes work and sometimes not!

Now that was frustrating Angry Marsh Bud.

Ah, the hours I've spent trying to get the YG on Sweet and Sour, yet to no avail. Darned pixel-perfect placement...

I'm still pretty non satisfied about the prankster whale being sensetive to where you push it.

Could you explain that a bit more?

Of course, you realize we can't actually fix any of these things or we'd break all the puzzles and all the replays that have already been made... Confused

Cheers!
Jamie.

Lillarion means that depending on where an item is relative to a Prankster Whale, the whale will shoot it differently. Just a little bit, though...but enough to affect things!

I don't see this happening. What can happen is that if your hitting a chococloud or something else that moves the collision will be different because it's a bit before or after usually. Similarly if you suck up something that has a non static animation during its freefall time. If this is not the case could you attach a level with directions on where we should move an object to get a different result?

Ehh... Yes I meant what minmay said. I didn't realize this was an effect of the objects relative distance to the whale. Check this out. In these two replays the whale is placed in exactly the same position. I would have liked it if a fixed whale sucking something in always gives the object the same trajectory.

I stand corrected. That is indeed weird.
